It's like that thank you note...

I associate my lack of posting to neglecting to write thank you notes. I'm almost to the point where posting is actually more embarrassing than not posting - just like sending a thank you note 6 months after receiving a gift.

However, I press on. I have several excuses for not posting: 1) I have had internet issues, 2) I haven't taken any good pictures in a while, and 3) I have two accounts with google. I started my blog before I started gmail, and it's really annoying to log in to my blog account with a different account name. I also read all blogs through google reader, so my blog tends to be out of sight out of mind.

I have a need to write. I find myself buying a new notebook once in a while to get some fresh journal entries. I once used blogging as my writing outlet; however, I have found it more of a chore rather than a fun outlet or hobby recently.

So, tell me...anybody else get in a blogging funk?

*raising hand* Me. Totally me. I realized way too much had happened to fit into one post, and got overwhelmed and so just didn't post anything at all for a few weeks. I just started posting again, more because I felt guilty that so much was going on and I had friends out of the loop than because I actually wanted to. But now the desire to blog is creeping back.

On an unrelated note, these verification words are incredibly bizarre. Mine is "pukedion."

Yes, it's hard because I feel like everyone reads my facebook and twitter, thus they know what is going on. I'm going to vow to do better...maybe. :)

I was in a bit of a blogging funk a couple of months ago, and it took me a while to get caught up. But, I'm kind of back to posting again.

I enjoy reading your posts, but totally understand the need for a break sometimes. Besides, you're still doing WAY better than your husband, who hasn't updated since last August!

You could just be like me and totally lower the standards of what is required to be a "post". You know...throw in a Wordless Wednesday" or something where you just type like two sentences or put up an adorable pic.....then it shows on the calendar. If you haven't taken pics in a while you could do a Wayback Wednesday....or something.

Actually you don't owe anyone anything, but we do love reading your blog.

I understand! We love reading your work, but I think you should feel just fine about posting at your leisure. We will be here when you are able to share again :)

I love reading what you write. Always good for a laugh or some profound insight. Please don't feel any pressure. Just know we love to read WHENEVER you feel like writing!

I don't write often because I don't fell like what I do is that noteworthy. I go to work, go home, sing and sleep. Not terrribly exciting!

We love you guys!
